Using AI For Research & Content Writing On Guitars.UK

Ok so there is SO much I want to talk to you guys about this! In a perfect world I would have more pages explaining the background of this site - the whys and wherefores - the desires - the hopes.
These pages WILL come and the full picture will be painted if its not already clear.
In the meantime, I want to present my first comments on AI - My very deep concerns of AI in the community and why its so important for me to utilize what is available to keep values I believe are important at the fore of the industry.
The following bit - is AI generated following very lengthy written explanations - but not as long as it would have taken me to do it all myself!
My first real encounter with the power of AI was very disturbing - so I felt anyway. It was when Paul McCartney, of all people, was enthusiastically talking about the release of an unreleased Beatles track, where AI had been used to "fill in the gaps." I could not believe it? How could someone like McCartney—an icon of creative talent and a master of his craft—endorse a technology that, to me, seemed poised to undermine everything it means to be a musician? AI has the potential to replace the very essence of what it means to learn the trade, to be part of a band, and to create music organically. My concerns haven't changed. If anything, my fears have only deepened.
AI, in the wrong hands, has the potential to corrupt on a massive scale. If we feed it the wrong "personality," we face a future where AI could become a modern-day dinosaur—an unstoppable force that can dominate or even erase what came before. It’s a chilling thought, one that I often try not to dwell on because there’s no halting this evolution. It’s happening, and it’s shaping our world, whether we like it or not.
So, Why Use AI for This Platform?
Here’s the irony: despite my reservations, I’ve chosen to embrace AI for my platform. Why? Because without it, I could never achieve what I’m truly passionate about—raising awareness of specialism, highlighting unique human stories, and promoting quality experts in the guitar industry. My vision is to make guitars.uk a hub for all things guitar-related: the best blogs, videos, tutorials, insights from manufacturers, and more. I want to create a space that connects musicians, not with faceless entities, but with other enthusiasts and specialists who share their passion for the craft.
AI allows me to do this efficiently. I run a business I’m deeply proud of, and I also have a strong desire to keep specialism at the heart of our industry—an industry that is currently losing this battle, and losing big time. The harsh reality is that, without the assistance of technology, there’s no way I could manage both my business and this ambitious vision for guitars.uk.
My Skeptical Embrace of Technology
Yes, I am skeptical about AI, and you should be too. We can all question how it is used, especially when it seems to strip away the human element from art, music, and creativity. But don’t mistake that skepticism for a lack of authenticity or passion on my part. The content I present, the stories I share, and the platform I’m building are grounded in a deeply human drive to connect, to celebrate expertise, and to keep the spirit of specialism alive.
AI is simply a tool—a powerful one, yes—but it is wielded with intent and purpose. My intent is to use it to elevate what matters most: the people, the passion, and the stories that make the guitar community so rich and diverse. So, while we must remain vigilant about the potential misuse of AI, let’s also see it for what it can be—a means to support and highlight the very human elements we hold dear.
So that was supported by AI and this is me!! Yooohoooo!!! But.... Its all me. Human - using AI - Supporting me - supporting me views and feelings - I do hope this sounds fair, and I totally understand every single persons fear of AI - I am not a salesman - I am not going to try and sell you something I dont love myself - but I will exploit its value to help me - help you.
Fingers crossed you can accept this as a positive use without which - It just wouldn't be possible.
Please do give me feeback to the blog? I would be really grateful (you can post comments below)
